About the Staffing Unit
The staffing unit started in November 2022, our mission is to support the hospital's operations during short-term sick leave, long-term absence, and when prioritized areas need extra reinforcement. We are responsible for planning, coordinating, and administering the internal staffing at the hospital – always with the goal that the right competence should be in the right place at the right time.
Today we have nurses trained in 36 departments, mainly within adult somatics. We are now in an expansive phase, where we are building staffing also within psychiatry and the Children's Hospital. This makes our mission both varied and important for the hospital's overall function.

Your Mission
As a nurse with us, you have your employment centrally at the hospital but work in several units.
- You will be introduced to at least eight departments, according to an individual introduction plan. Which departments you are introduced to is determined by the hospital's current needs.
- The schedule is planned in 13-week periods, we make necessary adjustments based on staffing goals to create an even distribution of all shifts. You know which days and times you work – but which department you staff may vary from day to day.
- You will have a day filled with variety, professional development, and the opportunity to contribute where you are most needed.
This is the position for you who want to be challenged, grow, and broaden your competence – without having to leave the security of a permanent position.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have:
- at least 2 years of experience in emergency care or
- at least 4 years of experience from a care ward within inpatient care
It is meritorious if you:
- have worked in different operations or the staffing industry
- have good experience with the journal system Cosmic
